Steve Chambers from Persuasion Methods have some great questions. I only realise how detailed is my reply to him that I think it warrants to post it here.
His questions:

I try to operate my life on a "trust but verify" philosophy. Does this make sense? Is it rational? Does it reek too much of magic or wishful thinking? What is the downside of believing this information or of taking it at face value?
There is a lot of information out there and it comes with a lot of crap. We need to stand guard at the door of our minds.<
I wish there's a magic pill to give us the absolutes to live by. But there's none.
As I said before (in Kevin's Vox blog, I think), even I've been used & exploited too many times, I still believe in the fundamental goodness of human beings. I still have that faith. Maybe that's silly. I don't know.
Having said that, I can be quite critical as learning experience alerts me certain patterns and personalities are simply "not quite right." I need to be extra alert of possibly wasting my resources on them. Life is short, we need focused actions to get results. Why waste resources on time wasters who might have all the good intentions but virtually NO uplifting actions put forwarded?!
Your "trust but verify" philosophy can be quite good as long as your experience tells you that it's worth your while. Each person's different enough to warranty special fine tuning. But it's generally a high risk, high return model. Sometimes, what're "rational" are NOT that good for us human beings. We need balance. Emotions is what makes us "human", rather than cut & dry robots. But too much of emotions wrecks our lives as we make our minds and hearts ebb back and forth in the emotional roller coasters.
Personally, I usually do not take people's words at their face value while I am careful of NOT interpreting their actions and words too deeply. But every time I don't use Pure Numerology when I can, I find myself much more prone to wrong personal perceptions and understanding. But I can see that by adopting your approach can save lots of time over the period as we educate our family, friends & associates to make them mean what they say as we're banking on them. Initially, we would suffer setbacks with this approach.
Just beware that your model is too risky to apply to strangers. Sometimes, one single critical mistake can wipe you out. Think what would happen if you're unlucky enough to bump into professional swindlers!
If you happen to be touring in China or India's big cities on your own, not in a reputable guided tour, you'll definitely lose your shirt even before you realise you've when applying your model! And there would be NO fun. Not every Chinese nor every Indian is "nice" and trustworthy, you see LOL :D
Kevin Hogan himself would much prefer NOT to operate on this "trust but verify" approach as the stakes is too high for him. He stresses that many times over various comments & his CD program(s) that he is risk aversion person. With his high visibility & all that, it's not a model for such individual.
Let me finish this by lighting up another blaze here:
We all want happiness in our life. Right?
WHERE & HOW we can have happiness?
There is NO happiness UNLESS we have peace in our mind. Correct?
But, HOW & WHERE peace comes from?
There is NO peace UNLESS our mind IS still.
HOW can we still our minds?
Ah, that "HOW" is THE key to happiness. Everything exists INSIDE of us. As without, so within.
This statement itself warrants a THICK book to explain. So I'm not trying to explain that here if anyone does not get it. It'll be another day, another time.
Back to stilling the mind business. To still the mind, we need to understand the nature of the mind is to think. So instead of suppressing our thoughts, it's wise & prudent to simply OBSERVE what're going on in our mind WITHOUT attachments.
So, we practice WITNESS CONSCIOUSNESS. Now, we can have stillness of the mind even though it continues to think because as we practice witness consciousness, the mind, in time, will quiet itself down and goes into what Buddhists calls the "VOID" - Nothingness! Meantime, we can maintain that witness consciousness and detachment to minimise the whirl pools of the mind.
At that VOID, the mind is still. And what's beyond that VOID is where "reality" starts.
This world and all universe, is said to exist only in the mind of the Self, the mind of God.
Take note, Intuitive John Shoemaker, this can be my starting point of what I replied to you recently that I might write a post on what's "reality".
I understand that this metaphysics might be too vague, too new or too intangible to you all. But if anyone of you is interested, I can cover this aspect in my upcoming Master Mind Group which still has 6 FREE spots left. Lena M is in, Dr. Michael Roth is at the edge.
I
hope by now, you know that my Master Mind Group is well beyond just Pure
Numerology, more than just understanding personalities through numbers for better

P.S. Please feel free to make comments. Avoid ANY thought that your way of thinking is "shallow", " not quite right", and therefore, not worthwhile to bring them up. Nope, your way of thinking is important NOT ONLY to you, BUT ALSO to the world as you're part of it. So spill out the beans here NOW.
